On Thursday, November 14, we will join with the Native Plant Society for a 3-5 mile hike around Gibbs Lake, through multiple habitat types including mature forests, wetlands and aquatic systems, ending at a bog to search for wild cranberries. Be prepared for wet weather and wear waterproof boots. Bring field guide, water, and lunch. Carpool at Shold Business Center (Patison Rd. by NOSC office) by 9:00 am or go directly to Gibbs Lake to meet at first parking lot on the right along Gibbs Lake Road at 9:30 am.
