The Jefferson Land Trust Natural History Society was founded in 2012 to foster active exploration, appreciation, understanding, and conservation of the diverse natural environments of the Olympic Peninsula and beyond.

Activities of the Natural History Society are co-sponsored by the Land Trust, and include nature outings, a natural history book club, and other related activities, in particular those that support the stewardship principles of the Land Trust.
